A Message From Taylor
My name is Taylor Campbell. I am a sixteen-year-old student at Hoggard High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. I have two older sisters, Brooke Shilen (26) and Morgan Campbell (24) and two wonderful parents. I am a Varsity cheerleader for Hoggard High School. I love to dance and compete in pageants. I enjoy children and I aspire to pursue a career that would enable me to work with them. I enjoy watching sunrises and sunsets because they remind me of God’s amazing goodness and grace. I hope this book will help families and burn survivor’s recover from what seems tragic, but is really only the beginning of a lifelong journey. I want my story to bring hope and healing into the lives of people who need it the most. I feel that God has put me on this journey for this very reason. I am living proof of his greater plan. You are too. While working on this book, I learned that I enjoy writing. It has become a passion of mine. I did not write this book to bring attention or sympathy to myself. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Thank you for taking the time to read my book. I often find myself reminded of the scene in the movie, Finding Nemo, where Dory exclaims, “Just keep swimming”. My motto is, “Just Keep Smiling.”
