He is an avid photographer, graphic designer, biology teacher and videographer. Daniel was born in Wilmington, NC and raised at Carolina Beach and Teachey, NC. He is a direct descendant of Blackbeard and struggles daily not to wreak havoc among the southward sailing vessels that ply the Intracoastal waterway behind his house.
Daniel attended Harrells Christian Academy in Sampson County, and has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from UNCW and a Masters of Science in Biology from the University of Guam. After school, Daniel took a break from being a scientist and worked as Commercial Production Manager and Webmaster for WECT TV-6 for seven years.
